Connection
What is this elusive 'connection' everyone is looking for? Someone I chatted to, just on messages, seemed to believe we had a 'connection' because we were messaging! Connection for me is something only found in its real sense on meeting.

Totally agree here, having finally had that connection on all levels, with my last affair.
It made the affair far better than anything else I have experienced through this site.
It just hurt more when it ended, but here I am trying to find it again š

I always make a point of asking for feedback on pw swap , at you know where you stand !

It should naturally flow to that point, after pw like, and agreeing to move off site to communicate.

This is a very individual matter. Some women get a lot of meeting requests, but have limited time. They need to chat for a while to see if it's worth progressing to a meeting.

J20hn1..
Your lady was polite and she told informed you that you were not what she was looking for ā¦.most guys/women tend to winge that they get no āfeedbackā so donāt let it worry you.. some are looking for a niche type of person ā¦plus we are not looking for perminant partners ā¦
Itās how it works in here ā¦.contrary to what people say they do have a type and are not willing to change their perceptionsā¦. Happy hunting š

PS: I have never been offended by being asked to meet quickly (usually with an apology, worrying about being too pushy) and happy to do so if the schedules and logistics align.

Personally, from experience, having done both the weeks and just a few days of messaging, I am firmly in the "Meet ASAP" camp ... it saves both parties a lot of time (especially for the man as he's paying for his time here) and only meeting in person will tell you if there's that much heralded "connection" or not (also physical attraction).

J20hn1, I think ExoticOrchid is right - and itās fair enough. Itās happened to me. If she wants a bearded body builder and she seeās my photo of course she isnāt going to be interested - and, yes, you may have a lovely personality, but if your pic doesnāt attract then sometimes thatās enough. Itās fine.
The question I have, as a fairly relaxed, and absolute noob, is how soon is too soon to say āvirtual is nice, but how about we meet up in person at a nice cafe - see if we enjoy spending time todayā. I donāt want to put anyone off by being too pushy - equally, I donāt want to put anyone off by appearing too relaxed.

I now have a dislike to that word Connection .
Why did the Wi-Fi break up with the router? Because it found a better connection!
Why donāt skeletons ever fight each other? They donāt have the guts... and their connection is always lost!
Whatās the most important part of a relationship? The Wi-Fi connection ā because if itās weak, nothing else will work!
Why did the smartphone go to therapy? It had too many unresolved connections!
I tried to connect with a girl at the bar, but our Bluetooth kept disconnecting. It was a short-lived relationship.

I think that was just her polite way of saying she wasn't attracted by what she saw.
Just be glad she gave you a reason and didn't just blocked you ... most men here say that's usually what happens. š¤·š»āāļø

I agree with the question. How can anyone know what a person is like without a meeting.
I have a situation where a chat was on going and she asked for a photo. That's OK.
Then after giving my pw she says "I'm not really feeling a connection. Can anyone tell me how someone can or can not feel a connection from just one photo? Maybe it's a guy thing that I don't get it but I thought it was the guys who relied so much on appearance not the girls. ??
