Age doesn’t matter to me, as long as you click. There are a lot of attractive women in their 60s that just ooze sex appeal. I’m more 40 plus up to 60s, just personal taste and nearer my age but everyone is different.

Hmm... Western Europe tends to have one of of the lowest singulate mean ages between men and women, in fact its dwarfed by other continents. I agree culture has an impact but often a negative one. Women in the UK are more romantic and that's why i love them. :)

The traits of the "older" man has been debunked, dont believe me? Just check your inbox and the ages of men that have poor etiquette or manners.... some can chalk younger men off as insecure and immature (which is often true) but when older men lack manners after so long in life... its a much bigger concern.

I recommend reading any of David Buss's work on the topic. Or Donald Symons if you are more into the evolution of sexuality.

Its very much a cultural thing.

Western European women tend to look for a guy slightly older than them. Maybe up to 10 years older, but other cultures are more flexible and many women from those cultures appreciate the wisdom, reliability, confidence and self assurance of a much older guy.

My experience is that older ladies are looking for toy boys and younger women are looking for a sugar daddy. I am an older person that would just like to meet someone of my own age and experience for the joy of it. If it leads to other things then that's great. However, maybe there are younger ladies out there that would not mind meeting me. I would suggest that I m more mutton than lamb... but I am not too bad looking and keep myself fit. Who knows.

It depends on personal taste of course, and on sheer natural attraction- nothing wrong per se with stating a top or bottom age, but I don't understand why one would limit oneself too much (and I do agree very much with ExoticOrchid about ages within reason on this one)?

A woman of 60 can be far more attractive than a woman of fifty, and I would guess the same would apply to men. (I don't find men sexually attractive, so it is not something I feel qualified to say much on!) So if you fancy someone, and don't feel the need to ask for age verification for an over 18, or the need for a defibrillator on standby, just make your own decision and enjoy the good times.
