I think it comes down to personality too. Personally I've always been attracted to older men since my teens, so I always opt for older when looking, however I'd always choose boyfriends of similar age to myself 👍

All sort of depends on personal preference obviously - kind of agree with Exotic’s parameter them, for me I suppose I consider 10 years either side. With someone in the same age bracket I think there’s a a higher chance of a degree of commonality with what you are experiencing from life and that might make for greater understanding as to stresses, availability etc. But ultimately most people seem to be looking for that particular adventure and I wouldn’t say that age is something that should rule out a partner for that.

Age is a number but is also relative, and at the end of the day, I do not think it matters at all. Young at heart and all that, just how you feel and how you get on. Many appear very age sensitive but my last partner was 15 years younger than me and we got on perfectly.

If the attraction is there then go for it, either way

It's all very well saying age is just a number and that it doesn't matter ... well, I'm 64 and I have sons in their twenties ... do I want to be with someone that age and possibly be older than that guy's mother??? NO!!! In fact I could easily have sons in their early forties ... I might even be older than the guy's mother!!! Depending on the person, perhaps maximum twenty years younger would be my limit.

However, would I be with a man twenty years OLDER??? NO!!!
If nothing else, I'd be scared he'd pop his clogs whilst with me.

Personally, around five years either side of my age would work for me ... any younger could work BUT not any older, mainly for practical reasons, especially medical!!!

Spirit, a sense of adventure, lust for life is what counts..things that might actually come with age & life experiences. Youth isn't wasted on the young but you don't always know what you have at the time...a fish doesn't know it wet 😄

If nothing else I think this site not only promotes getting what you want but also getting what you like!

It's certainly made me think about what i think I'm looking for to what I actually end up with - most of the time on blind faith, following where this part of the story goes.

Age is irrelevant. Androgogy and pedagogy - not so.
