You are correct about your friend of a friend of a friend…I knew a guy who operated on the same wavelength and yes one day a woman said yes and the truth be known he couldn’t perform…😂

After several months and several hundreds of pounds I am anguish to think that these adult searches is a fix between the publishers and females / proposers, does any body get to meet on these forums or is it a scam in what I am saying? There was an apocryphal story doing the rounds when I was young about a bloke (a friend of a friend - you know who I mean) who'd approach a good looking stranger and ask outright; "you wanna fuck?".
Said bloke got an awful lot of of slaps but, every now and then - allegedly, got an "ok".

Carefully read the profile and details before you write. Try and use a subject line that might interest the prospective partner you’re writing to (I think sometimes messages with boring subject lines will never get read)

Match the tone of the profile you’re writing to, match humour with humour, seriousness with seriousness.

Try and ask relevant questions that the other person might be inclined to answer and thus lead into a conversation (a bland introduction has no real path to chatting).

I think there is no “one size fits all” approach to this as everyone is receptive to different things. Like most people have said, just be yourself and make it personal by actually reading their profile. No one wants generic emails.
