I get a rush from the secrecy of an affair - it's a thrill. Does this happen to anyone else? Nothing gets me going more.
Interested to hear peoples opinions on this one, is it a normal fetish?

I agree with comments that having to lie is far from getting a thrill.
The secrecy is more of a necessity rather than a thrill.
The thrill and enjoyment comes from someone coming into your life and giving you those great moments where you both share, explore, and enjoy things together. All those things that we all miss in our day to day relationship.

Reflecting on this more, it’s the desire for some fun, some intimacy and the chance to meet someone likeminded and after similar things, without making life more complicated than it needs to be… I want that to provide warmth, tender moments, some thrills sure, but not because of the thrill of it. But each to their own and assuming they find someone after the same thing.

I don't think it's the secrecy thats the thrill - I get no rush of having to lie , it's something (given the choice) I'd rather not do.
Bit yes meeting someone new , and find out more about them is most definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of this. And then if all goes well, getting to them even better, explore eachother, trying stuff out - that is where the rush and enjoyment comes from

I don't think the thrill comes from the secrecy but getting that interaction we're all looking for is thrilling enough for me. The secrecy is just inconvenient!
