If chaps want increase the chances of an answer to an initial message i suggest they use the subject box to stand out rather than just a "Hi" in it.

Instead, put a profile related question or comment in the subject box.

I can only manage 2 or 3 chats at a time but I will often read a message with an interesting subject box.
