To me, the underlying message coming through is that I'm a selfish pain in the yaris, I'm above you and you'll answer to my command, I'll allow you to empty your wallet on me and I'll consider allowing you to clean my shoes for me if I decide you might be half worth a second glance on all of my terms.

It's not a good scenario, but the giveaway lines in the profile are useful, they tell you to move on and don't waste your energy.

There's often this air of superiority about profiles that have made me think something like "no wonder you're on this site if you're like that, even you're husband is tired of you and you're having to find someone new to play games with.....".

I always try to spot and avoid profiles that say more about what someone doesn't like or want rather than actually tells the reader anything useful like what they do like or want. You know the type - all you get is "don't do this and don't ask me about that or you'll be blocked". These profiles are a sure sign of a diva time waster. I have engaged in back and forth with people on here who barred me from speaking about anything personal yet demanded that I be the one the keep the conversation going like they're some sort of queen and I'm their court jester! Literally there is nothing I can banter with them about because they've deemed everything off limits, yet I'm supposed to keep them entertained.

So no, you haven't ruffled feathers. You've just given us some more pointers on profiles to avoid and not waste our time on. Quite honestly, the carry on of some people here would make you feel apologetic for breathing. No wonder everyone's rolling their eyes!
