Freeze balls and sunburn.

Me and my dad, I buried his feet in the sand.

I was not very well with sunburn on my shoulders.

The blinking sea was freezing!!!

That’s because you are not used to swimming in the sea and you’re a city girl 😉.

I just don’t get why people, another crazy craze, would step into a barrel/bath of iced water and stay there for several minutes 🤷🏼‍♀️🥱.
Yes… if you are used to your local heated pools it’s very much a case of do not try this at home lol.

Sea bathing on the Ayrshire coastline is less cold and the views are spectacular.
Just don’t wear a swimsuit.
A diving suit may be more appropriate lol.
Unless you were brought up in Ayrshire 😉

I was up at Dunnet Head a couple of years ago. Went for a dip in October - it certainly awakens the senses (although, admittedly forces some into reclusive hibernation!! 🤣🤣)

The sea is invigorating?

The last time I was in any British sea was in Ayr, many moons ago.

Freezing, freezing. It was a hot summer's day but the water was freezing, I was waist deep, teeth chattering.

I can remember it all these years later

Visit Ayr, or Troon. Lovely! 👋
