It is all going well until……
They come up with stories that are simply too good to be true. What are some of the most outlandish tales that we have been told, either to get us to agree to a meet, or as an excuse to part ways?

These sort of short lived experience wouldn’t be termed as ghosting. More akin to Beckysharp’s going to the next person in a bar on an evening out. Ghosting for me would be someone disappearing without rhyme or reason after both parties have established firm interest in each other.

I agree Beckysharp. One persons ghost may not be the same to somebody else! Recently I was told very politely I was not the right man for a lady. She let me down nicely. I obviously accepted it with a smile and just moved on as I felt either of us needed to say anymore. It was on,y after a few messages over an hour one evening but would some say I was ghosting her not replying?

I think one persons ghosting is another persons ‘ending the conversation’ before you meet Alexislooking. Not every conversation you have is going to lead to a meet. Most fade out. And not every conversation ends with a formal goodbye. If it’s early days don’t over invest.
I imagine it like having a short conversation with a stranger in a bar. If you get on you’ll carry on chatting and maybe arrange a date. If you don’t… few lines exchanged and then you start talking to someone else.
All good ☺️

Emails are out for me because, both, at home and work all the devices are connected and shared.
Kik is out because of the constantly running ads, messages from fake/spam accounts and the app often crashes.
WhatsApp I do use but accidental calls from “him” have made me more aware of where my phone is and not getting caught out by someone else answering the call.
I prefer Telegram. It’s “safer” and a really good and easy app to use 😃.

I think Telegram is so much better thank kik
Similar In that you set a username and can block your number from showing up, and then people can find each other from usernames. No ads and the best thing about it is the emojis 😂 they are great
