Agree, I dislike Kik intensely. Nothing worse than waiting for a message from someone you are expecting a message from and it turns out the notification is a sex worker asking if I want to see her tits.

Kik is not a safe platform too easily hacked, telegram seems to work quite well...everyone turns to WhatsApp but that requires a mobile number given out whereas telegram doesn't someone close to my heart showed me telegram...

However whilst messaging here isn't the easiest it is secure I've had women move to whatsapp then get caught thinking they use it all the time beware you won't know it butvyour focus and behaviour will change if you message on whatsapp delete once read and make sure notifications are turned off when your phone is not with you!

One other thought ! Of course it depends on what the messages are. I’ve just started messaging someone on here who actually puts some effort into messaging. Not a few word answers. It does make such a difference than brief responses

My partner uses my laptop so I keep it “clear” of anything suss.
My iPad and iPhone are connected so no Kik or contacts that look suss are added.
No second phone. It’s difficult enough handling one lol.
WhatsApp works for me.
Email is a no go.

Progress to what’s app if your sure it’s ’the one’

Having 2 phones is difficult to do and you need your wits about you …keep everything in one place ..apps are easy to delete… I do everything on my phone and my phone is always with me…..remember if you have an IPad as well as a I phone your ‘dirty work ‘ will be there too… don’t link your accounts ..make sure your location is off ..and don’t install ‘find my phone ‘ 😊
