I'm a similar mindset Bored Housewife.

I'm not expecting to meet someone in my town.....but an anything over an hour or 90 minutes each way is going to be stretch if you can't figure out meeting somewhere in between, then time often becomes the limiting factor.

Are you based in London Dotty or on the outskirts?

Selfish has nothing to do with it, it's practicality. It just gets old and tiresome if it's a 4 hour round trip each time.

I live in Kent got a message from a delightful lady in Wales.....now I know I've been in a bit of drought lately, but that's a commitment!

Logistics matter. As well as mode of transport.

At the end of the day, how much do you both like each other to make the journey? Would you meet halfway, or would one person always be the one to travel?

Personally I wouldn’t even consider proceeding if logistics look a right pickle, but that’s the pragmatist in me speaking. I know a few great and awesome people who have made long distance work, and my utmost respect and admiration goes out to them 😊

Anyhow, vaguely back on the topic of the thread....

How far are you all prepared to travel to get your rocks off?

I've had some messages from very lovely ladies indeed but I do wonder if they have a grasp of time, space and Google maps?

I'm on the Kent/Surrey border and I search the four counties around me (I generally forget London as it could take me 3 hours to get 15 miles there).

So what's your limit? Or is it elastic, the hotter someone is the more willing you are to crunch the miles?

I see no spite here, I see a lot of people speaking their mind, which is refreshing.

The namby pamby society we live in today, in combination with social media is inisidious, there isn't a better word to describe it.

I don't want to see it permeating little oases like these, tucked away from public view.

Why on earth are you letting a complete random upset you. People can make comments all they want on here, but NEVER take it personally or say it’s cruel. People don’t know you, people make opinions on what you write in a profile or in a forum post.
If I got upset every time someone in here made a not very nice comment about me, I would have left a long time ago.

This forum tends to be dominated by small but very vocal clique of women who buzz on being spiteful and it seems I lumped you in with them in error.
