I had an ex IE message me on regular text message using a 'new' mobile. Messaged with 'Good morning'. Didn't have a clue who it was, but had a feeling it was someone from IE. He revealed his identity at 11pm that same night. Now he was a narcissist. Best rid. That happened 3 months ago.

Today was sweet- my ie had a stressful morning but was thinking about a gift for me me … so I’ve taken pressure off … said buy me something random whenever- or not.. no pressure!!

I am very fussy re gifts. A bit of a character flaw! Either get me something properly good (I’d expect expensive jewellery etc) or don’t bother. Definitely not a pen or a box of chocolates!!! I’ve got enough of those 😂

One guy did once buy me super nice AP bra and thong. Had to bin it on way home.

So I prefer my gift to be… him!

Not necessarily ... as I've said before, it all depends on individuals and situations.

No doubt there are those who expect/demand gifts but those people are either not looking for a genuine affair and/or they have a hidden agenda.

They haven't messaged me on here (I've not been on for ages) but on my private messaging app that we moved to outside of here. Guys I've not communicated with for 18 months, including an ex I.E, that was a bit of a shit to be honest. They are chancers with Christmas horn! I think the 'reformed' ex just wanted to see if he could pull my strings and make me dance. I didn't dance...x
