First date?

What's a good first date idea? It's yonks since I've last been to a restaurant. Work and Life is just SO busy.

Is a restaurant even what you really want to do on a first date anyway?

Snogging in the cinema was an expected practice back in the day...if you went with your bf/gf you sat in the back row which had double seats..

It was a cheap and cheerful night out ..plus there was always 2 films on..

Now it's about 10 quid for a good seat....the prices of ice cream...popcorn and other goodies is extortionate...and you only get one film

I used to take my kids on a Saturday morning and go into the pound shop before and get drinks n sweets..😁

Don't know about it being more civilised times now.

Back in the day seemed like more innocent times, at least you could get into the cinema with a pre bought quarter of cola cubes or lemon sherbets without getting a pat down!

When I was younger the place to meet was a milk bar! There was a bar named Roses it was always busy and safe. Next door a cinema 🎦 which again was a place for a date. A bit of snogging may lead to a hand going up my skirt! Now it seems to be more civilized XXX

Are there any real women on here seeking fun?

Definite no to a restaurant. I always like to go somewhere nice, quiet and not too busy so I /we can talk and get to know each other. I try to get the Lady to pick so she feels safe etc

I think it’s a mistake going to a restaurant on a first date so I would suggest a quiet place and have a couple of drinks.

I guess everyone wants something different, I am not looking to start dating I want to meet up in a public place like a coffee shop and see if we connect then plan to meet up :)

Do something you can talk about as you are doing it. If you are into art, then go to a gallery, if music then a jazz/live music venue.
Something really silly like Go Ape
