It really is up to the couple to decide what is best for them. But if one is on the site and not actually looking, then like DottyG, put something up to say ‘not available’, or some other ways on the profile to reduce prospectors from messaging. If you like the other party enough to go exclusive, then it will only be natural that the corresponding behaviour follows. If you don’t, then do whatever you like, but don’t be surprised if you get found out 😉

Does she know you are staying in here? ..there can be no expectations in this line of work but I think you need to inform her that’s what you are planning.
Are you going to be happy if she stays in here/whatever website she is on ?
She will get messages from other guys !!!!

How do you expect to earn her trust if you're on here still? Are you saying she just has to trust you when you say 'you're no longer looking?'. Have you told her you're exclusive?

Just because you pay - you don't have to stay on here... this is up to the individuals choice - whether they are male or female and pay or don't pay ....

Also I am still on here because I enjoy the banter her on the forums - I have on my profile I have met someone - I have an automatic message set up saying thanks for the message but I will no be responding as I have met someone. I am not interested in starting up chit chats. I have had conversations with some lovely people, but now I feel there is no point starting up a conversation with someone new as it will not go anywhere... and as nice as they maybe - it is not the right time etc.

Each to their own, you make your own choice and we must remember we are on a cheating site - and just because someone is not active on here you have no idea whether out in the real world they could meet someone.

Just do what is right for you.

Yes we pay to be on here so why stop using it? I recently started chatting with someone which went up a level and we had a first meet last week, we're messaging several times a day. I'm only looking for one person to be with and hopefully I've found that person now.
But I'm not going to stop using the site as I pay for it. There is still this forum to use, plus the occasional person does message me, however trust needs to be earned that I'm not meeting others.
