I keep coming against this judgement that I am too old for somebody in their late 40's, without bothering to talk to me or to look at a photograph.

However my circumstances are such that I have responsibilities and a lifestyle more like somebody of that age.

As my profile says I do not spill soup and have my own hair.

I like men to be about 10 or 12 years younger than me. I feel young at heart and find men younger than me more interesting and spritely. However, my daughter is 28 so my lover must be older! Anything else would be too weird. I'm not really interested in anyone the same age or older than me.

I personally wouldn’t meet someone in the their 20s or someone much older than me, hence why I specify an age bracket.

I am 38 and find women in their late 40s attractive. But as long you're on the same wavelength as the person older or younger its fine!

Cant be too young and cant be too old!

There's younger and there's younger ... would I go with an 18 year old boy ... NO!!!
[but I accept there are men my age who will ... but then men have been doing that since the beginning of time ... women can do that too of course but not for me]

Then there's older and there's older ... would I go with an 80 year old man ... NO!!!
[yes, young women have done so ... Anna Nicole Smith comes to mind ... but there's a term for them]

It's great that you have found a connection. Age doesn't really matter if that connection is there and all involved are happy. At the end of the day if others show any concern that probably says more about them than you.

I dated a woman 21 years younger than myself and also had relationships with women slightly older than myself and the key was the maturity of the people involved - not their age.
