Distance, travelling time is a real issue. Anything more than an hour runs the risk of it fizzling out. People who say they're happy to travel for the right person, tend to be ones looking for random encounters, which is fine if that's what you're wanting. Long travel times are not sustainable in the long term. Time is our most precious commodity and I'd prefer to spend it in bed not travelling ....

For me, it's not just travel time, but mode of transport too. An hour's drive is fine, but I wouldn't prefer an hour's train ride into London, with probably tube rides included.
I have in the past driven 2 hours to spend the day with an IE, but she was exceptional. I don't see myself doing that for "just about anyone"!

Its tricky isn't it?

I live on the outskirts of London but if you look at the people based in London they could be much too far away for it to make sense.

I think an hour would be the very limit.
