How far is too far?
How far is reasonable for an IE ,I don't drive but am happy to travel by train for meetings within an hour seems reasonable to me
How far have others travelled?

I think it depends on eveyones circumstances... im happy to travel up to an hour... but ideally less as it means more time with the person your meeting and i think that means more.... xx

I’ve Mostly met my IEs half way.....and happy to drive for up to an hour!
Live within 40 mins of London, by train, but have absolutely no reasons to be there!🙄

I would travel within 5 miles of my home turf so ideally like an IE near Wolverhampton or he has to travel near to me I don't have time to travel with my job

An hour is fair game but might only get me 20 miles after work if its in the SE. In a different direction I might get 60 miles.
If the route is pleasant then an hour plus is ok.
Only 30 mins to Waterloo by train so London ok but not at the moment.

I wouldn’t really travel more than an hour. I normally only have an afternoon to meet, so if 2 hours of that is already taken for driving that doesn’t leave a whole lot of time for ‘fun’

It depends on your scenario I guess, if you're in a job that often takes you away overnight, further afield is plausible as you can still have a great few hours/overnight on a regular basis.
For me, anything more than an hour would probably mean that each meet would probably start to feel like a hook up only.
No right answer on distance, only what feels right for you to get what you want out of IE.

A 1 hour tops for me , but had an fantastic IE who was 2 hours away ... he was always more than happy to travel to see me twice a month .
Lasted 16 months so I was obviously doing something right 😈

I use to travel from MK to stoke on Trent frequent most weekends(2Hours or 3 hours in rush hour)Driving isn't a issue for me plus being a driver for living it's nothing really. Good radio, good catch up stuff or music and time flies plus why limit your self to distance or area when life all about adventure. Seems many people enjoy living in a goldfish bowl when in order to get the fullness of life you must be in the sea :)

For me it's not just the time but the easieness of the drive and parking at the destination. I'm in the Midlands and happy to drive all the way down the M40 but wouldn't like to take on London itself. And Birmingham can be nearly as bad. So 1hr 30 mins is the edge of my comfort zone.
