Lockdown Loving :P

After yesterday's announcement I have decided to meet my IE from a social distance on Wednesday. Should we hit it off we have decided to become more intimate and make a pact we don't see others for everyone safety. what's everyone's thoughts?

I think the second part of the statement is inherently risky, are you saying you’d be intimate before they ease social distancing? Not seeing anyone else doesn’t make it immediately safer, you’re still combining two households without the other members of the households knowing. I think anyone who does this is beyond stupid and very selfish.

I would definitely have met my IE friend by now , but giving the fact that that's not possible because of the distance involved, but certainly a nice walk with someone to ease the pain wouldn't hurt anyone

I think it is allowable to meet while keeping social distancing (obviously no jumping into bed together!) and I also believe it is just courteous and proper that you refrain/withdraw from the site once you decide to become intimate............actually can't understand people who would continue to scroll these pages for encounters once a connection is made with somebody.

Congratulations and hope you're both able to control the emotions. Some relaxation of the rules will help with the meet. A coffee and cake 2m apart is doable. Plus you can still converse. TC

With social distancing likely to be in place for months to come, this is worst time to be meeting someone.

Is it really worth it, putting your family at risk?

I think this is the perfect opportunity to get to know your potential IE without meeting. Be sensible. It will get better soon.

Then when the right time comes to be able to meet and you are both very keen surely that’s a great sign that you are both meant to be?

Get the chemistry fired up in the next few weeks. Then when you meet you’ll want to rip each other’s clothes off 😈

I too have met an IE since lockdown - only last Friday.

We met 2 metres apart after 3 weeks of long weeks of heated messaging and video chats.

We both kept our side of the deal but I have to admit I just wanted to rip his clothes off. we just need to figure out a location for our next meet

Yes, like this idea - we need to take positive action of some sort, otherwise the exercise is pointless. Good Luck on Wednesday, wish I was there!

I think that is inherently dangerous , Cafes etc have not reopened as yet for a reason , so where would you meet besides a park ? The main point being , that a little more patience , and there will definitely be an opportunity to ,set in the next 3-4 weeks .

What’s the rush , ? why not spend valuable time getting to know one another virtually , phone calls etc , so perhaps when you do meet , you might be meeting as friends rather than strangers .
