Words to describe me would be active, well-travelled, worldly, kind-hearted, news addicted, nature loving, with a dry sense of humour. Liberal at heart and a confirmed Europhile (no Brexiteers for me). I’m as happy exploring a remote wilderness as I am enjoying the cultural capitals. I’ve moved beyond the glass-half-full approach to the glass is refillable! Valuing my friends and family, as well as discretion, I’m here to float rather than rock your boat. I firmly believe that enjoyment of the journey depends on the company you keep. I love knowledge and a healthy debate. I’m good with my hands which means I can make things, am creative and visual. I like to exercise and keep in shape, go to the gym, hike and cycle. I’m sensual, romantic.

I’m 1.8m, slim but athletic, toned and make an effort to keep fit. I have a chiselled look that has been described as handsome. Clean shaven, with close-clipped salt-and-pepper head hair, follicly challenged. My best features include my blue eyes, amongst other things. I tend to dress casual to smart.
