About Me:

I am introspective but good company at lunch or dinner. I am good on old fashioned dates but you should note that I am getting back to dating after a long break. Women with an interest in literature particularly attract me (my favourites include Conrad, Yeats, Samuel Beckett, and more recently, Jonathan Franzen). I am most likely to get on well with those in their 50s to 60s but I often attract interest outside that age range. I am married and will not leave my wife. I am, however, looking for a long-term relationship which will be, subject only to the marriage, exclusive. I have been told that I am good at building up a woman’s confidence. I like rugby but no other sports. I visit Dublin occasionally to watch Leinster. I am getting back to the theatre after a break. I like Bach and Mozart and a wide variety of folk - including Irish - music. I have been to the Cambridge Folk Festival more than 20 times. I can be fun but not in an overenthusiastic way. Contemplative types welcome; indeed, especially valued.
