About Me:

let me begin with what I am not and I will never be a George Clooney or a Tom Cruise- Please don’t get me wrong - I am sure they exist and possibly here too and there is nothing wrong in expecting one at all - but just that I am not one.

A direct corollary of that is yours truly is an ordinary man

Now with that sorted hopefully, here is me -mannered and old school, cultured, educated and polite, kind and grounded. Some call me classy but I really have no idea what that means. I am respectful and I am certainly not a machiavellian.

I have been very fortunate to attend some of the best universities in the world. I think I have had a great career and I have done the rat race and ended up, one could argue, winning on a no of occasions. My job has taken me to more countries than I care to remember. I don’t live a spartan life - do like good things in life and the good news is I don’t have to beg, borrow or steal to feed my tastes.

I am a raconteur, a story teller, I like to talk but then there are times when I want to do nothing, not even talk - just people gaze and dream.

I do think what separates me from most is how I conduct myself and I would like to think how I have been brought up shows

What brings me here then - I am married and have been for a long long time. One of those stories where you fall in love young and then you realise when your are not that young, that perhaps given a choice to live your life again you would do a few things differently - not all but some. But then hey isn’t that life for all of us, well most of us.

The thing is I am here - my life clearly isn’t as successful as it might seem to most , certainly not on all fronts. It isn’t egregious but it is not that great either. I know exactly where I am and what I want and it certainly is not a harem!

If you get attracted to manners and chivalry if old school charm is your thing, if you value confidence, personality, and a good mind….chances are I won’t disappoint you..

Ideal Partner:

I like all sorts of people, but personality really does it for me. I like women who are comfortably confident, who can stand an argument and have views of their own - topic can be any.

Looking for a laugh, a few drinks, watching the world go by with a glass of something nice, walking in the quiet holding hands ..and of course wherever that leads...tempered with respect and discretion always.

I have no specific preference to body types. Mind before body always - a beautiful mind is what I am after. Tall or short, slim or curvaceous, blonde or brown - it seriously doesn’t matter. What matters is the cerebral connection. Physics without chemistry is boring!!
