Chapter One: The Cabin

The dilapidated old wooden cabin sits in a clearing deep in the woods. It is twilight, the peeling White flaking paint reflecting the early evening moonlight.The cabin sits on and is surrounded by a leaf strewn carpet of Blacky/Brown leaf mulch, branches scattering the rough muddy, dirty space.The energy is pitched..... crackling with the tension in the air, that could be slit by a knife...a coiled snake of paranoia awaiting its prey, ready to bite and paralyse.In cold, stark, black clairity..... it stands, isolated and alone. 
Candlelight radiates in a warm yellow haze from a window to the right of the door on the eroded, weather scuffed and beaten veranda. A silhouette of a chair lies under the window, that can be just glimpsed in the half-light from the woody, foliaged surroundings. 
Warm breath exudes a space in the trees, its White, wispy curling tendrils and mass evaporating into the cool night air as.
He is watching.
