Your post made me laugh as I think exactly the same.

Removing the auto generated profile generator is a very good idea… 😃.
Personally auto generated profiles to me are uninteresting, say little about the person or their personality and are a red flag 🚩… I just think lazy arse and someone to be avoided.

Unfortunately I get the impression that these lazy people, having the auto generated option removed, will simply do the following…

About me… fill in later.
Ideal Partner… nothing entered or fill in later 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️🚩🤣😏

I agree with those who dislike all the off the shelf, AI cut and paste profile stuff:
Personally, I think the IE site should remove that facility, to encourage members to make a real effort to say something original about themselves.
Phrases that turn me off:
"I have a wicked sense of humour". Who says?
"I'm clean" - Shouldn't that be the absolute minimum requirement?
"Looking for some naughtiness". What age are you? 12?
"I'm discreet" - I should hope so!
Apart from that, all good!

Clearly you are new to IE and you will soon discover not everyone is true to their word ….

That’s very valid, however; what if there is someone who is genuine and looking for the real thing, yet hasn’t done it before?

I think it is funny when people feel there is a formula you need to follow for conversations. If you think someone is interesting then it is easy enough to keep a conversation going. If you are struggling to talk or need to look up "top tips for how to talk to someone" then it's not likely to work in person is it?

I haven’t been on IE long enough to know (1 day!), but I have been on other sites and have had serious online relationships before. There are a couple for me:

1. Stuff that’s clearly copy/pasted and unoriginal. It makes me cringe a bit… I don’t really want second hand stuff. This includes AI generated things… on another site, I don’t think I encountered a single real female account and the replies to. y messages were all clearly bots or pretenders. It made me feel sad, lonely and cheated. I quit my account within three days.

2. Stuff that has absolutely no reference to me whatsoever. Like it’s generic or like the other person couldn’t be bothered to even try and appeal to anything in my profile or any of my listed preferences. It’s objectifying.

They’d be my two big turn-offs.

Contrary to what people think …the statement’I have done this before ‘ commands a lot of respect from me ….. it means you are dealing with emotionally mature genuine members that want a ‘real ‘ affair and not waste your bloody time ..🧐

All depends on how opened minded you are not a lot puts me off but if it's not my thing I just say so and work round it someone's distaste is someone's pleasure.
