I'm still seeing someone I met here 18 years ago. It's only occasional, because we have both moved, but when we know that we can both be in the same city at the same time, we try to meet!

It lasted almost amazing 3 years. My affair partners marriage ended - he was looking for a way out- my marriage remained but he needed more and moved on. We still keep in touch occasionally but there is a massive void.

That's kind of what happened to me. We were together for nearly a year and I couldn't have been happier, until it ended before Christmas. She was looking for an escape from her husband and decided she needed to move on. I have to be honest it really affected me, to the degree I'm trying to work out what I'm going to do. I don't want to rush into anything with anyone else (as if that's likely to happen where I live!!). I'm actually contemplating whether it's time I moved on...

My last affair lasted several years as well as lovers we became great friends, we always said from the start if it started to affect home life or feelings got to strong we would finish it and that's what happened so we agreed to finish it it was hard for both of us but the right thing to do we still remain friends which great
