Tall Dark and Handsome (TDH)
Most of the lasses are searching for the elusive "Tall, Dark and Handsome (TDH) bloke". Plus they want him to be humorous, rich, flashy cars, amazing holidays, brilliant shopping trips and lasting in bed until cows come home! I understand that if you want to dream and demand then might as well go for the sky. But are you missing the trick here? Are you discounting genuine gentlemen who might be average looking but are great human beings? They might not have six packs and"Arnold muscles", but they can be sensitive and humorous and probably great in bed as well?
So my quick question - if physical attributes are a mismatch + you want to keep the whole thing a secret affair then how much does those "physical features" matter to you? Is your end goal not to have a great time whenever you meet? Each lass over here probably has around at least 20 lads chasing her and probably she can afford to be choosy ... but does it really work out?

Both males and females judging people on looks alone.
Not getting to know the person or their personalities.

Most people who try to will fail to have an affair. It's got nothing to do with ladies wanting TDH (as guys complain) or guys wanting someone 20 years younger (as girls complain).
The reason is that most people are, well, average. Average looks (which, for someone middle aged, usually means...below average). Average personality (i.e. dull). Average sense of humour (i.e. boring). Average, average, average.
An affair is about escapism. And who wants to escape with someone average? Nobody. Not even someone average.
The average middle aged overweight shop assistant fantasizes about the TDH lover she'll never get. The average middle aged overweight office worker dreams of the slender gym instructor in lycra he'll never meet.
Each perennially complains, in thread after thread, about the unrealistic expectations of the other one.
How boring. And how average.

It's definitely not all about TDH for me anyway...there definitely has to be an initial attraction but the chat has to be good. Then when you do meet in person it's all about the chemistry. I'm not interested in job, car, money etc...good communication, being treated well and feeling comfortable with the person is more important to me 🥰

Nobody is expecting to meet a supermodel, but at the same time why have an affair with someone who is less interesting and less attractive than the partner you have sitting at home? A woman asking for a man to be handsome is not actually saying "I want enormous biceps and abs" - rather she is saying that you need to at least look after yourself, be groomed, and reasonably fit... after this basic "physical attribute" hurdle then it comes down to whether you are interesting or not.
This one sounds like a guy who is 150cm tall with a belly like someone on Bullseye who is pleading "I am interesting really girls..."
