First date?

What's a good first date idea? It's yonks since I've last been to a restaurant. Work and Life is just SO busy.

Is a restaurant even what you really want to do on a first date anyway?

A drink is best, you can extend if getting on or make excuse to leave if nothing like you expected

Photo of your current self is a must, couple of years ago went on Tinder Date in Putney, the lady appears so different that made me struggle to hold a normal conversation.

A drink in bar for me. Not a fan of coffee, plus trying to find a table sometimes can be a nightmare in a coffee shop.

Naughty Jason -

Ikea!? No way. I've bumped into co workers in there. Hardly private and discreet bouncing on beds.

First date should be normal friendship nice nothing of the extra made efforts, if you social drink then have some wine or larger, and just easy up as the day goes. Make sure you are 100 free to relax all day and into the next day. Don't rush yourself, or hers. Have a nice comfortable walk, hold her hands, look into her eyes, kiss her as a gentleman. Show respect unto others as you walk, love her in every way, be proud of her. Hand in hand walk together, respect her home and neighbours.
DON'T :Attack anyone else who stirs at her, head-bat them, start a big crazy fight, show her how tough you get.
DON'T: Get merry not drunk, enjoy a nice drink, a drunk man seldom performs, a merry man has innovations in love making.

One of the wierdest but surprisingly the best first date I've had was to IKEA. My date was busy trying to find furniture for her house after having had it refurbished and we just couldn't get our diaries to coordinate so in a last ditch attempt I suggested accompanying her to IKEA. It turned out that she was looking for beds so we spent two hours bouncing on a whole variety of beds. By the end of the date we were very comfortable lying in bed next to each other. It was the perfect springboard for an affair that lasted for almost a year and resulted in us continuing to 'test' many a hotel bed.

I have met various dates for coffee /drinks/lunch or dinner...

My preference for a first date is a drink or coffer after work or lunch time - then if it is not going well it gives you both an out - got to get the train home, or got to get back to work - and if it is going well - stay for the second drink and arrange your next meeting.
