I'd love to take a lady out to a restaurant. The problem is, no one seems to reply to my messages. Does anyone have a similar experience or any tips so we could make it to the restaurant?

A lot depends on what the expectations are, but, even if you are both planning to jump straight into bed, there is not a lot wrong with a pot of tea/cup of coffee over a slice of sticky cake!

O dear lord … no !!!! Just NO ….

I run - 3/4 Half marathons a year, a few 10 is and regular parkruns … however I have to concentrate on running not chit chatting … hot sweaty 🥵 no make up … the girls strapped down in two sports bras … I’m a very slow ploddy runner I run for fun and keep fit …. If anyone suggested a run as a first date … I’d be running … but in the opposite direction 😂😂😂 happy to share photos and medals if my runs but that’s it 🏃🏻‍♀️

A few people list on their profile that they like running/ exercising...meeting somewhere nice and going for a run together has been a nice ice breaker in the past for me...you get to see if the person is honest about their hobbies (not just went for a single run 30 years ago and claims to be a runner) it's a fairly relaxed way to get to know somebody and chat (unless you are doing sprint training) and even if you don't click on a romantic level, you might gain a new running partner
