And yes I accepted a wedding invite for a couple who were getting married second time around, omg how awful of me

Interesting one, I think if the couple are senior enough in a business then a blind eye is turned maybe?

My boss (f) head of service, she had an affair with a director, it was known in the team.
However you would never know otherwise, you didn't catch them up to anything and they were totally 100% professional in the office, just arrived and left together.
Director left his wife for her in the end. We all went to the wedding and had a blast, she had a lot of energy and was a laugh to be around so I could see the attraction.

However its not something I would do, feels far to risky and HR love to be seen to do the right thing.

She doesn’t have to wear a ring.
I don’t wear a ring, I hate wearing jewellery…and watches. Not that it’s relevant, just saying.

I know people who have had sex with their colleagues and they are still mates. I really couldn't!

I had an office based affair 30 years ago. It was a fantastic 12 months. We never carried on in the office, I was married she was single and every night I would take her home and we had a great time. It came to a natural end and I eventually left the company onto pastures new. I think things have changed over the past 30 years so might be more difficult these days.
