If you dress appropriately for where you say you are going then it will not raise suspicions.

The real problem is always having a plausible reason for going where you say you are going. if you don't normally go to such places at those times with such frequency that will raise suspicion.

Oh btw gentlemen, I've been on the "other side" as a wife so here's something to remember ... don't change your habits ... for example if your wife has always bought your underwear, don't suddenly start buying them yourself ... also, don't say you're off to the gym and then shower and wear a nice shirt before you go!!! (yup, my ex husband did)

Good question when in the office (i started well before lockdown) i started wearing smarter and smarter clothes claiming the youngsters were out dressing me, then with the help of Gareth Southgate and series before last line of duty Arnott i managed to add the waist coat now going to work with no questions in a 3 piece suit - would always dress up smart for a date and if its strip poker for afters i have an extra layer to come off!

Like Maria and EO have said, and speaking as a man, i smuggle a change of clothes into the car and arrive at the date looking and smelling like a proper silver fox. 😁😂🤣..... ok, maybe not THAT good, but good enough to have shown i have made an effort. 😎
