I don't get it. Maybe it's a sign of the times and the fact that you met virtually means that it's disposable as far as they're concerned.

When a simple, this isn't working for me, or I' can't do this or something to give a closure.

Preferably one that doesn't end with me getting ghosted or yet another no show at the agreed time and place.
