The wife rang me and I texted but asking who it was, and she texted back to say that I rang her before, I said sorry but I don't have this number on my phone so how can I call you, next minute she started calling my phone and I answered, the lady sounded very posh with a very rich accent but she put the phone down on me, I think she realised that my English was broken beyond repair as I was mixing with Afrikaans and my own language.

I totally agree with you.

I don’t have access to my mobile during working hours “security”.
My partner tends to just message or leave a voicemail which I’ll reply to when I can.
I can away with I’ve been offered an extra shift or there’s a meeting up in Glasgow.
But I always make sure where/when I’m meeting my Ie that we use places and modes of transport that we won’t run into anyone we know.
And there will be a perfectly good explain as to why I’m on said train or in a certain place.

Just like you say…. Keep it simple and uncomplicated 🙂

I tend to stick close to what I’m doing …

My meets are normally during the working day …

If however I was doing something out of the norm I’d work a story around it ie if I was going to Brighton I’d make up I was near that way as imagine if there was a train or car issue … and you were the the opposite end of the county 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also keep it simple … don’t make an elaborate story ..

A bit of advice to all of you thinking about or having an affair.
My now ex husband slipped up spectacularly on several occasions…
My advice…
Lock the bathroom door if you are going to trim or shave your pubes 🙄. I just laughed and rolled my eyes. His face was bright red.
Don’t leave new bottles of aftershave, still in their boxes, hidden at the back of a drawer. Less suspicious if left out of the boxes and in plain site.
Don’t buy a second mobile and hide the carrier, receipt and box in the loft. Yes… that’s personally my fav 😂. I only went up into the loft for the Christmas decorations and I couldn’t stop laughing for about 10 minutes. I just thought “And for your next spectacular slip up? How are you going to outdo this one”?.
Don’t buy sexy satin boxers etc and hide them in the glove compartment of the car. I had to borrow my exes car one morning when mine wouldn’t start. I could tell by the look on his face he was hiding something lol.
