First date
When do you know it's time to suggest going for dinner on a first date? Or are first date drinks more appropriate? x

Drinks! Always drinks. But have a plan if things are going well … meet in a place that also does food, or know somewhere round the corner. Dinner dates definitely 2nd date territory. Exception to above is if you know you’re going to get on, eg have been talking on phone for a long time before meeting, dinner is better option. Never meet for a coffee … you may as well bring your CV along too.

Eating is cheating?
Tell that to the just eat driver who is about to deliver me a foot long meatball sub (extra cheese)!

A drink is better, if you dont click it's over quicker. If you do click you will know pretty quickly.

In my world…eating is cheating. Far better things to be doing than dinner and drinks. Details on request

Simple. Whenever you’re hungry. You (or they) say. ‘I’m Hank Marvin. Time to eat. Shall we?’
Very simple

Coffee or a drink for first couple of meets I would think then perhaps lunch or dinner ......that covers the 3 date rule also plus getting to know ur potential lover before jumping into her !

Drinks always, nothing worse than either party having to sit through dinner if there is no attraction, drink, then if you feel the spark then more drinks! 🙂
